Soft Tissue Manipulation in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry‎

The soft tissues of the oral cavity are the first barrier to certain aggressions. Besides this protection, the soft tissues are fundamental both in the aesthetic finalization, and in the recovery and success of surgical techniques. The thickness, strength and differentiation or specialization of the soft tissues such as the keratinized gingiva, have to be considered in the treatment plan, and often manipulated before, during and after the implant placement and also in general Dentistry

In this training will be presented all the theoretical foundations, from the diagnosis, the different techniques and clinical applications.

Several clinical cases will be presented exhaustively, addressing different techniques in different clinical situations.

Students will have the opportunity to apply different techniques in animal model.
