EAO 2017

The European Association for Osseointegration "was formed as an international, interdisciplinary and independent science-based forum for all professionals interested in the art and science of osseointegration". This year, the congress took place in Madrid on the 5th, 6th and 7th October. As usual, SPI / Núcleo CIRO was present at this scientific meeting.

This year, the founder and coordinator of this group: Dr. David Alfaiate has decided to present a scientific poster to share some of the surgical procedures he performs on a daily basis and teach some of his modifications in the advanced bone regeneration techniques to be able to improve bone availability. Dr. Nuno Sampaio and Dr. Pedro Araújo were also presents in this event, but not empty-handed. As always they were sharing knowledge, Dr. Nuno Sampaio presented his latest work in the field of ​ platelet-rich fibrin with improvements and Dr. Pedro Araújo, with a interesting summary of the scientific actuality in the bone regeneration in implant dentistry, that nobody should have missed...
